Position: Operating Department Practitioner (Dual Role: Anaesthetics and Scrub)

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Operating Department Practitioner for a unique 4-month placement in the Falkland Islands. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential healthcare in a remote and stunning environment, supporting a dedicated clinical team.

Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following strict criteria:
Dual Competency: You must be experienced in both Anaesthetics and Scrub roles. Candidates who do not possess verified experience in both disciplines will not be shortlisted.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience within the NHS or an equivalent healthcare system.

Registration: Current registration with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) or equivalent professional body.

Core Responsibilities
Providing high-quality perioperative care across both anaesthetic and scrub phases of surgery.
Maintaining clinical standards in a remote setting with varying caseloads.
Collaborating effectively with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficiency.
Adhering to local clinical governance and health and safety protocols.
