Dental Hygienist – Fixed-Term Contract (ASAP to Mid-September 2026)

Location: Falkland Islands

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

We are recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join a friendly and supportive dental team in the Falkland Islands on a fixed-term contract from ASAP until mid-September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality preventative dental care and oral health education

Carry out periodontal assessments and treatments

Provide scaling and polishing treatments to patients

Develop and maintain individualised oral hygiene plans

Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
Uphold high standards of infection prevention and control

Work collaboratively with Dentists and the wider dental team to ensure excellent patient care

Requirements

Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Hygienist

Previous experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a small multidisciplinary team

Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
