Dental Therapist – Fixed-Term Contract (ASAP to Mid-September 2026)

Hours:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

We are recruiting an experienced and motivated Dental Therapist to join a friendly and supportive dental team in the Falkland Islands on a fixed-term contract from ASAP until mid-September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a range of dental therapy treatments within scope of practice

Provide preventative dental care and oral health education

Carry out routine restorative treatments and periodontal care

Assess patients and develop appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with the Dentist

Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation

Uphold high standards of infection prevention and control

Work collaboratively with the wider dental team to ensure excellent patient care

Requirements

Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Therapist

Previous experience working as a Dental Therapist in a clinical setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a small multidisciplinary team

Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
