An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Theatre Nurse Practitioner to join the clinical team in the Falkland Islands. This 4-month fixed-term contract is ideal for a versatile professional looking to apply their surgical expertise in a unique, remote healthcare environment.

Candidate Requirements

Dual Skill Set: You must be competent and experienced in both Anaesthetics and Scrub nursing. Dual proficiency is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Clinical Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience within the NHS or an equivalent international healthcare setting.

Professional Registration: Current valid registration with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) or equivalent.

Primary Responsibilities

Deliver expert nursing care during the perioperative period, transitioning seamlessly between anaesthetic support and scrub duties.

Ensure all surgical equipment and anaesthetic apparatus are prepared and maintained to the highest standards.

Work as a key member of a small, multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a remote setting.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
