A&E Nurse Practitioner – 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Location: Gibraltar

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

We are recruiting an experienced and highly motivated A&E Nurse Practitioner to join a busy Emergency Department team in Gibraltar on a 3-month fixed-term contract, starting ASAP.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with a wide range of minor injuries and illnesses

Provide urgent and emergency care within the Emergency Department setting

Perform clinical examinations and interpret diagnostic results where appropriate

Prescribe medication and initiate treatment plans in line with local protocols, where qualified

Support patient flow and contribute to the effective management of the department

Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold patient safety standards

Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements

Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse

Relevant experience working as an A&E Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Nurse Practitioner within an Emergency Department

Strong assessment, diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment

Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
