Registered General Nurse for the District Nursing team

District Nurse – 1 year Fixed-Term Contract

Location: Gibraltar

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

We are recruiting an experienced and compassionate District Nurse to join a dedicated Community Nursing team in Gibraltar on a 1 year fixed-term contract, starting from August 23rd.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients within their homes and community settings

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans

Provide wound care, medication management and chronic disease support

Promote patient independence and wellbeing through education and support

Work collaboratively with GPs, social care services and the wider multidisciplinary team

Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold safeguarding and patient safety standards

Participate in health promotion and preventative care initiatives within the community

Requirements

Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse

District Nursing qualification or relevant community nursing experience

Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and organisational abilities

Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload effectively

Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
