We are currently recruiting skilled and adaptable professionals to join a friendly and supportive surgical team in Gibraltar for a short-term contract.

Responsibilities
Assist in surgical procedures by scrubbing in and handling instruments and supplies
Maintains a sterile field by following established protocols
Communicates with the surgical team to ensure the smooth flow of the procedure
Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and provides instruments and supplies accordingly
Assists with counting of sponges, needles, and instruments before and after the procedure
Reports any discrepancies to the surgeon and circulator
Prepares and maintains the operating room by setting up equipment and supplies
Cleans and sterilizes instruments following established procedures
Performs other related duties as assigned
Essential specialities covered: urology, Gynae, Obstetrics, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery, Plastics, ENT.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (NMC) with theatre experience (Scrub, Anaesthetics, or Recovery)

Right to work in the UK

Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
