Dental Officer
Location: Ascension Island
Contract: 2 years from November 2026

This is a unique opportunity to become the sole Dental Officer on Ascension Island, delivering high-quality dental care to a close-knit island community. Working alongside an experienced Dental Nurse, you’ll have the autonomy to lead and manage the island’s dental service, providing a broad range of treatments while overseeing the day-to-day operation of the clinic. This is an ideal role for an experienced clinician who enjoys working independently, taking ownership of a service and making a genuine difference to the health and wellbeing of the island population.

Essential requirements:
Bachelor of Dental Surgery, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
Current registration with the dental professional body / authority / council in your country of residence or practice
Confident in carrying out a full range of general dentistry.
Confidence, skills and knowledge to work independently, in a very remote location with no local dental colleagues.
