Central Belt, Scotland | Permanent Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Respiratory Nurse Advisor to join a dynamic healthcare team covering the Central Belt area of Scotland.

This is a permanent role offering full-time hours of 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Part-time applicants will also be considered, with a minimum requirement of 4 days per week (36 hours).

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care through a combination of face-to-face clinics within primary care practices and remote working. The position offers a highly autonomous working environment focused on improving outcomes for patients living with Asthma and COPD.

The role includes travel across multiple practices within approximately a 2-hour radius of your home address. A company car or car allowance is provided.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Asthma and COPD reviews within primary care settings

Deliver patient-focused respiratory clinics across multiple sites

Support best practice management and optimisation of respiratory care

Work collaboratively with GP practices and wider healthcare teams

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient follow-up

Requirements

NMC Adult Registered Nurse

Previous experience conducting Asthma and COPD reviews in primary care

Ideally 3+ years’ respiratory experience

Full UK driving licence

Desirable qualifications include:

Asthma Diploma

COPD Diploma

ARTP Certification
