Locum Consultant General Surgeon – NHS Highland

Dedicare is currently recruiting an experienced Locum Consultant General Surgeon to provide cover at Caithness General Hospital, NHS Highland, over the Christmas period.

Shift Requirements:

Monday 21st to Sunday 27th December: 08:00 to 18:00 daily

Additional overnight on-call shifts (18:00 to 08:00) on Monday 21st,
Wednesday 23rd, Friday 25th and Saturday 26th December.

Requirements:

Consultant-level experience in General Surgery

Full GMC registration with a licence to practise

Previous NHS experience

JAG accreditation essential, or the ability to provide endoscopy scope audit data as an alternative

Ability to work independently within a rural hospital setting

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Consultant Surgeon to provide essential cover over the festive period while working in the beautiful surroundings of the Scottish Highlands.
