Clinical Pharmacist – Western Isles – both short term and long term

We are seeking experienced Pharmacist’s to join the team in NHS Western Isles.

Roles available –
Band 8a Clinical Pharmacists (Primary care)
Ward based Band 7 Clinical Pharmacists
Front Door Band 7 Clinical Pharmacists (This post will cover patients within the Hospital at Home virtual ward as well as providing support for the Urgent Care and Acute Assessment teams).

About the roles –
Here, you would be working as a key member of the pharmacy team to provide a safe and effective
clinical pharmacy service the Western Isles NHS Board to the agreed standard of pharmaceutical care for a defined patient population and within limits of responsibility, resources and activity.

Essential requirements –
Minimum of 3 years work experience
Valid UK driving licence
GPhC registration

WIH is a rural general hospital serving approximately 26,500 people (the Outer Hebrides population). It is a modern and well-equipped hospital with approximately 90 beds covering General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics and Trauma, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Acute Psychiatry Rehabilitation.
